PRO-AM JAM

Our first ever Carolina Studios Celebrity Pro-Am Jam event went off without a hitch this year.  It was held on October 24, 2011 as a featured sub-event o the Nationwide Tour Championship Golf Tournament at the Daniel Island Club.  Carolina Studios procured and hosted 24 celebrities during the day for an exclusive golf tournament for select participants who paid for a round of golf with them.  Celebrities included Bill Murray, Darious Rucker, our own Mark Bryan, Edwin McCain, Mike Mills, and many more.  Later that evening, Mark held a one-of-a-kind concert featuring over fifteen famous guest musicians.  This exclusive concert was held on the croquet course right in front of the Daniel Island Club, which served as a fantastic place for people to cone out and enjoy the evening.  Highlights included seeing two of our students, Ruben and Karima, perform as the opening act for Mark and his pals,  Darious coming out for a few Hootie tunes, Colt Ford bringing his whole band in for two songs by surprise, Mike Mills from REM making a surprise appearance, and Mark just having great fun with all his friends on stage.  The event was sponsored by the Piggly Wiggly, Suntrust Bank, and Student Transport of America.
